Gotogra is an indie game in active development — a tactical roguelite deckbuilder set in a cursed castle full of dark secrets. Every run, you build your deck, choose your path, and adapt your strategy to survive increasingly deadly dungeons. Turn-based strategy meets dark fantasy, and no two runs are ever the same.
This devlog is where we share the journey: design decisions, behind-the-scenes challenges, playtest findings, and everything in between. If you love roguelites, deckbuilders, or just want to watch something get built from scratch — you’re in the right place.
The team
Even though by industry standards I’d be considered a solo dev, this has never really been a solo project. Here are the people helping shape Gotogra:
asnowgoose — That’s me. Programmer, designer, artist, and general chaos coordinator. I’ve gone full-time indie to make this game happen.
SORRYCAT — Composer of Gotogra’s original soundtrack and a key contributor to story and design systems. Expect dark, gritty, emotional music that sticks in your head long after you’ve closed the game.
thelazyfactory — Social media and marketing manager, helping us share the journey with the world. If you found us online, it’s probably thanks to her.
